When one chapter ends… and nothing new has begun
I slept better that night than I had in a long, long time.
My body just gave in—exhausted but relieved—knowing something had ended.
But when I woke up the next morning, the house was still.
Quiet.
Empty.
I walked out to the balcony, looked out at nothing in particular, and whispered the only question that seemed to matter:
Now what?
Turn left? Turn right? Stay? Go?
I hadn’t a clue.
It was that strange, vulnerable space where everything had ended… but nothing had begun
That was the beginning of a long journey back to myself.
Eight years of reading, reflecting, doubting, reshaping.
At one point I joked I was refreshing my email, waiting for a message from God with a checklist. A divine to-do list.
It never came.
What came instead was stillness. And in that stillness, I learned to hear my own voice again.
And from that voice, I created something called the Simple Life Audit.
It’s not coaching. It’s not advice.
It’s a quiet, guided space for women who are in the “now what?” season of life—post-caregiving, post-burnout, post-everyone-else’s needs.
It’s for the woman who doesn’t need fixing…
She just needs time and space to reconnect with herself and reimagine what’s next.
If this speaks to you—or to someone you love—reply to this email or message me with the word audit and I’ll send you a short overview.
You don’t have to be ready.
You just have to be willing.
I don’t pretend to have all the answers.
I’ve walked the path. I’m still walking it—
and I can guide you through your part of it.
