Trusting the Process & Embracing the Unexpected
When You Let Go, Life Has a Way of Falling into Place
Sometimes, life has a funny way of reminding us to slow down and trust the process.
This morning, my laptop decided it was done—screen flashing, battery dead, the works. My immediate thought? "Okay, I get it. Message received. Time to pause. Time to stop for a while."
I found a repair shop in Belfast and made arrangements to go in. After getting lost (of course!), I finally arrived at their branch office. The technician was kind and reassuring, and while he took a look, I went to grab us both a coffee.
By the time I returned, my laptop was fixed! Turns out, it just needed a new lead—my US adapter wasn’t cutting it. When I asked how much I owed him, he simply said, "You already paid me... you bought me a coffee."
Moments like this remind me why I love this place and why it's so important to let things unfold naturally.
And as if the universe wasn't done winking at me, on my way back to the car, I stumbled upon a hair and makeup studio. I popped in, shared a bit about the RETREAT I AM ORGANIZING in IRELAND, and discovered that the owner specializes in working with women 40+, offering booked-out classes that blend mindset with practical beauty tips. The connection felt effortless—just another sign that when you have faith and stay open, the right opportunities come to you.
So, if you’re feeling like you need to control every detail, maybe take a step back. Let life surprise you. Have faith, trust the journey, and allow things to happen. You might be amazed at what shows up when you least expect it.
Have you had a moment like this recently? I'd love to hear your experiences!
