Stopping---something I wish I had learned earlier in life. But alas better late than never.
We each have routines. We have habits that guide us through our day.
Simple habits
✅Brushing our teeth.
✅Coffee-tea in the morning
✅Work, career, our business
✅Caregiving for others
Lest we not forget the running of our home.
But there comes a time when we must throw caution to the wind and simply Stop. Recalibrate. Shift.
It is only in the stopping, creating space to reflect that are we able to learn from our experiences. Those that were good, bad and even the ugly.
It is not an easy task to stop. We all have that niggling in our brain…I need to do this, that, and everything else.
The this, the that, the constant movement... that can all wait. If we neglect this self-care process we never catch up, we never experience life to its fullest, we never appreciate all that we are.
