Miss Evie, my doggie and I celebrated today.
The girl had her stitches taken out yesterday and I promised her a puppuccino. You may ask, what in the world is a puppuccino? Well head on to Starbucks with your puppy and if you ask, they will offer your four legged family member a cup of whipped cream.
Puppinotos= Miss Evie’s fav.
As we entered this coffee eatery I was struck by the same BAD HABIT I have seen on the other side of the pond. Men and women together at tables sipping their beverages, mobile phones in hand concentrating on anything but the person on the other side of the table.
What in the world is happening to us?
What possibility could be more important than old fashioned, down to earth conversation with your fellow human being. Is this where we are going wrong as a society? We are literally not listening to each other. We are not developing meaningful relationships through conversations.How in the world can you see how someone truly feels when you are unable to look into their eyes
Tapping on a keypad just doesn't cut it. Has the human voice ceased to exist?
Is this action, or perhaps lack of action, the cause of our current societal problems? As you can read this really saddens me.
My rant is over. Am I the only one who recognizes this? Are you the other person at the table? I would love your thoughts on this topic.
