I have spoken with several human beings recently about the Changes they made in their lives.
One newly found friend moved from Italy to the Netherlands. Another, after working in the law industry for six years, packed it all in and is now operating her own business in a completely different field.
Today I report back from a fellow business owner who:
Divorced her home.
Let me explain - and for the purpose of this post let me call “Her” “Sally”.
Sally reared her children in a rather spacious home. One by one and as the years passed the children left the nest. On the weekends and vacation times Sally and her husband would set off to be one with the wilderness. They both enjoy camping. Far too many times on the journey back home husband and wife would remark on all the “projects” they had to do when they returned. There is a lot of upkeep in home ownership
“We were becoming house poor and often remarked to each other. Is this the way we want to live”
Quote from Sally
And so Sally and hubby sold their home. They downsized. TWICE
First to a townhouse then to a mobile home.
Their change to residing in a townhouse helped them discover that town life was not for them. Lesson. The move to a mobile home has allowed them to live in South America for several months of the year and explore other locations in Canada.
And
Sure there were challenges, decisions to make. “roads’ to travel to get there they wanted to go but they knew that without making one Change the next Change would never have appeared.
Funny how life works that way.
Are you thinking or dreaming of making a Change, whether it be big or small, DM me and I will tell you about an event I am planning. No strings attached.
