Roses don’t grow in south Florida.
Yep, it is just too gosh darn hot.
But
There are other flowering plants in the state. There are alternative blooming plants. Mother nature CHANGES horticulture to suit the environment.
When I left the shores of the USA and headed to the United Kingdom I left the sunny skies and warm year-round weather. I have lived in the United Kingdom before and this CHANGE in weather was the polar opposite of what I had become accustomed.
I must confess, on several occasions, thoughts came whispering into my mind “ What in the world are you doing?”
But
I have come to understand that CHANGE involves alternatives, alternatives to what “was the norm”. CHANGE brings about a different perspective. CHANGE offers other opportunities.
So just like roses are not grown in south Florida there are alternatives.
I have come to understand that these alternatives offer CHANGE.
And
CHANGE is available to all of us.
