I dislike bottles, jars and containers.
Especially on the dining room/kitchen table when I eat.
Eating is sacred to me because
It is a moment of peace
A time of gratitude
It's the time I am nourish this body I have been given
This habit is important.
Why?
I love to eat. I like order formality. I crave simple pleasures and eating for me fits that need.
The smell and taste of a cucumber
Sipping on warm [ served in a cup and saucer ]
Warm homemade soup as it trickles down my throat.
And another why?
Because I see what is going on around me and it scares me. The hustle and buzzle of life. The need to fill a void with a stop at the nearby drive through.
The quick fix of a burger that provides no nourishment but fills a temporary void.
Oh and the marketing of food that will feed that hunger.. Dare I ask.. how in the world could a quick burger purchased at a big box restaurant for a few dollars , including french fries and a drink of your choice, provide nutrients to our body?
A nutritious meal allows our body to think clearly, make informed decisions and provides us with objective thoughts.
Have you ever tried to put diesel in your gas car? It just does not work.
