For those who are unfamiliar with the process of monetization, the guidelines whereby the YouTuber gets paid for advertising space on their videos are simple.🤣

The channel needs

1000 Subscribers + 4000 Hours of viewing time.

Recently, after three years I hit that target.

Yay Me! Notification of my first compensation came through today.

Drum roll please!!!

🎉$1.23 [ don’t get jealous ]

Now one might think

• Three years of content creation

• Over 300 videos uploaded

• HOURS upon HOURS of work and for that

But I have learned, and continue to understand, it is the journey and not the destination that really counts. I have learned so much on this adventure [ and not only about this social media gig ]

• Persistence counts

• Frustration is part of the game

• You gotta keep learning

I am not giving up on my YouTube channel. I will continue to plod along,

I will

• Test, research and determine a topic

• Create the thumbnail - cover

• Record the video

• Edit the video

• Upload it to YouTube

And pray!!!

Because I just know this will work out. I can see it. I know it. It is just a matter of time and ALL the lessons along the way.
